Our Services
- promotion of mental health services among vulnerable and specific ethnic communities, including senior populations, residents of nursing facilities, children and teenagers, and other community groups;
- the provision of mental health care and wellbeing services in their languages that are culturally and linguistically appropriate, such as mental health promotion and education, in close collaboration with GPs and acting as the agency to clinics that have a high number of non-English-speaking patients;
- reducing the stress, worry, and other unpleasant mental states brought on by difficult family dynamics, work, educational, and living circumstances, which can have major negative effects on people’s health and lives;
- establishing a successful operational service model for clients who do not speak English using the resources offered by primary care practices in the mental health and wellness sector;
- providing Health Improvement Practitioners (HIP) program services under the Mori Health Authority to New Zealand’s Asian and other minority communities;
- maximizing the use of public health sector facilities and resources for customized and regionalized ethnic community health services;
- to encourage discipline, good behaviour, a sense of duty, and identity among all communities through a variety of media to combat anxiety, mental health problems, and communication problems;
- programs for community education on health issues are designed to avoid long-term health issues like smoking, drug addiction, and other issues.
